Meritorious Official Honoree Jerry Kuntz Passes Away

The National Wrestling Hall of Fame was saddened to learn that Jerry Kuntz, who was honored as Meritorious Official by the Hall of Fame in 2014 and who received the Lifetime Service to Wrestling award from the Oklahoma Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2008, passed away on Monday, at the age of 69.

Olympic medalists Elor, Dake Among 16 World Team Trials Champions Qualified For Final X

Sixteen World Team Trials Challenge Tournament champions have been added to the 2025 Final X card, including 2024 Olympic champion Amit Elor and two-time Olympic bronze medalist Kyle Dake, and will compete for coveted spots on Team USA. Final X is set for Saturday, June 14 at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Events will feature eight weight classes with eight matches for men and four for women. Wrestlers will have the opportunity to win a championship purse and bonuses — in adherence to NCAA regulations — for victories.
