Join us, as we build a strong financial foundation for America’s shrine to the sport of wrestling.

To become stronger, one must be willing to push beyond the limits. To keep going when it would be easier to give up. To persevere with intensity and dedication. To get back up, again and again. To find the strength to power through … to Power Beyond.

Preserve History

The National Wrestling Hall of Fame is more than a museum – it’s a place where legends live on. By preserving the magical moments of wrestling, the Hall of Fame allows visitors to relive their most cherished memories, connecting generations through a shared love for the sport.

Recognize Excellence

From state chapters throughout the nation that recognize those at the grassroots of our sport to regional and national award recipients, the Hall of Fame awards program brings well-deserved recognition to the sport of wrestling.

Inspire Greatness in Future Generations

Wrestling is a sport for all. Support from the endowment will help the National Wrestling Hall of Fame drive the power of wrestling beyond our museum walls to inspire future generations and reach people of all ages, genders, ethnicities and abilities.

NWHOF Endowment Fund History

2007 - Endowment Fund established. Initial gifts of $400,000 were permanently invested with the Tulsa Community Foundation.

2021 - Endowment Fund grew to $1 million by means of bequests and investment earnings.

2022 - “Power Beyond” Endowment Campaign launched with a goal of $5 million in new gifts to be raised by the end of 2026.

2026 - $5.3 million was pledged and gifted to the Power Beyond Campaign by Q2 2026.

Endowment Fund Future

As the gifts and pledge payments come in and the permanent endowment fund grows, the principal will generate enough earnings to fund a significant portion of our operating budget. The annual earnings distributions are utilized across the entire organization, including the National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum in Stillwater, Oklahoma, the NWHOF Dan Gable Museum in Waterloo, Iowa, and the NWHOF State Chapter Program.

2030 - Once the remaining pledge payments are received and invested, the fund should grow to at least $6.7 million.

2035 - Charitable estate gifts and investment earnings are expected to increase the endowment to $10 million. The annual earnings distributions from an endowment this size will go a long way to supporting the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in perpetuity!
