12 World Team Trials Champions Qualified for 2026 Final X, Presented by Kerberos Capital Management
Twelve Senior World Team Trials Challenge Tournament champions have been added to the lineup for 2026 Final X, presented by Kerberos Capital Management, including 2024 Olympic champion Amit Elor and 2024 Olympic silver medalist Spencer Lee. Final X is set for Friday, June 19 at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, and will decide the 2026 U.S. World Team.
The Final X field includes Tricia Saunders High School Excellence Award winners Alexis Janiak, Everest Leydecker and Macehy Kilty and Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award winners Marcus Blaze, David Carr, Jax Forrest, Wyatt Hendrickson, Spencer Lee, Ridge Lovett, Chance Marsteller, Zain Retherford and Zahid Valencia.
Women's Freestyle Senior World Team Trials Champions Crowned
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The women's freestyle champions at the 2026 Senior World Team Trials Challenge Tournament are Amit Elor, Elena Ivaldi, Alexis Janiak, Macey Kilty, Jennifer Page, Morgan Turner and Areana Villaescusa. Janiak and Kilty are both winners of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame's Tricia Saunders High School Excellence Award.
The seven champions advance to 2026 Final X, presented by Kerberos Capital Management.
Men's Freestyle Senior World Team Trials Champions Crowned
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The men's freestyle champions at the 2026 Senior World Team Trials Challenge Tournament are David Carr, Jax Forrest, Spencer Lee, Mason Parris, Zain Retherford. Carr, Forrest, Lee and Retherford are all winners of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame's Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award.
The five champions advance to 2026 Final X, presented by Kerberos Capital Management.
Women's Freestyle Finals Set at Senior World Team Trials
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – National Wrestling Hall of Fame Tricia Saunders High School Excellence Award winners Claire DiCugno, Alexis Janiak, Macey Kilty and Felicity Taylor have all advanced to the women's freestyle finals at the 2026 Senior World Team Trials Challenge Series at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center.
The championship bouts in the women’s freestyle division at the Senior World Team Trials Challenge Tournament begins at 12 p.m. ET on Friday.
Men's Freestyle Finals Set at Senior World Team Trials

Pre-Seeds Released for Senior Men’s Freestyle at Senior World Team Trials Challenge Tournament
Pre-seeds have been announced for the five men’s freestyle brackets at 2026 Senior World Team Trials Challenge Tournament scheduled for Thursday and Friday at Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in Louisville, Ky.
The No. 1 pre-seed at 57 kg Spencer Lee was the Pennsylvania and Northeast Region winners of our Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award in 2017 while the No. pre-seed at 70 kg Zain Retherford was the Pennsylvania and National winner in 2013.
Other DSHSEA winners entered are Cameron Amine, David Carr, Anthony Cassioppi, PJ Duke, Jax Forrest, Jayden James, Quincy Monday, Jimmy Mullen, Landon Robideau, Edward Scott, Aaron Seidel and Evan Wick.
Women’s Freestyle Pre-Seeds Announced for 2026 Senior World Team Trials Challenge Tournament
Pre-seeds for the seven women’s freestyle brackets at the 2026 Senior World Team Trials Challenge Tournament scheduled for Thursday and Friday at Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in Louisville, Ky.
The No. 1 pre-seed at 62 kg Macey Kilty was the Wisconsin winner of our Tricia Saunders High School Excellence Award in 2019.
Other TSHSEA winners competing are Vayle Baker, Alara Boyd, Claire DiCugno, Jaslynn Gallegos, Marissa Gallegos, Cameron Geurin, Taylor Graveman, Alexis Janiak, Rose Kaplan, Katerina Lange, Sage Mortimer, Kendra Ryan, Sarah Savidge, Emily Shilson, Alexandra Szkotnicki, and Felicity Taylor.

The National Duals Invitational, a groundbreaking $1 million collegiate wrestling event sponsored by Paycom, has announced the 16-team field for the 2026 edition of the premier event.
Defending National Duals Invitational champion Ohio State will be joined in the field by Arizona State, Arkansas-Little Rock, Iowa State, Minnesota, Missouri, NC State, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Stanford, Virginia Tech and Wyoming.
