OMAHA, Neb. – The National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum invites the wrestling community to attend “A Day with Dan Gable sponsored by Wrestlers In Business Network - Heartland Chapter” on Sunday, September 27, at the University of Nebraska Omaha’s Lee & Helene Sapp Fieldhouse in Omaha, Nebraska.

The event will bring together wrestling legends, former teammates, coaches, and fans for an afternoon of celebrating the sport of wrestling while honoring the outstanding career and contributions of Mike Denney and other celebrities.  

There will be a social, and team reunions from 12 to 2 p.m. followed by the main event headlined by legendary coach, Olympic gold medalist and National Wrestling Hall of Fame Distinguished Member Dan Gable, whose impact on wrestling continues to inspire generations of athletes and coaches. The afternoon will also include Distinguished Members Rich Bender, Tervel Dlagnev, Bill Scherr and Jim Scherr, as well as Marc Bauer, Mark Manning, Jim Miller, Mike Moyer, Bryan Snyder and more. 

In addition to meeting and spending time with wrestling greats there will be plenty of time to reconnect with teammates to share memories and to celebrate the individuals who helped shape and continue to positively impact wrestling in Nebraska.
