Upstate New York Chapter Board Meets to Continue Efforts for the September Inductions

On Sunday, April 25, 2022 the Upstate New York Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame held their meeting in Cazenovia, NY. Hot topics on the agenda were the upcoming inductions and their dedication to sanctioning female wrestling.

Upstate New York Honoree Highlight

The Upstate New York Chapter of the NWHOF takes great pleasure in recognizing two of our honorees. Rob Weeks and Randy Morrison are outstanding coaches and have had a significant impact on wrestling in New York.

Upstate New York Chapter Stanbro Media and Volunteer Awards Announced

Upstate New York Chapter announces Matt O'Rourke for the Stanbro Media Award and Dick Ballard for the Volunteer Award. This year’s ceremony will be held on September 25, 2022 at the Double Tree Hotel in East Syracuse.

Girls Wrestling Exhibit at NYSPHSAA Wrestling Championships

This year the Upstate New York Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame presented at their exhibit tables at the Boys NYSPHSAA Championships an exhibition advocating for girls wrestling and the sanctioning of girls wrestling by the NYSPHSAA.
