Jack Carnefix has been the operations manager for the National Wrestling Hall of Fame since October of 2015.

Carnefix has more than 40 years of experience in communications, media and public relations,

Since joining the Hall of Fame, he has been instrumental in growing the organization's social media presence, increasing Facebook followers by 1,415 percent, Instagram followers by 1,052 percent and X followers by 221 percent.

Carnefix has played a significant role in the Hall of Fame's website growth, including record numbers in 2023 for sessions (716,239, an increase of 1,095 percent from 2015), users (618,697, an increase of 1,166.89 percent from 2015) and page views (1,220,239, an increase of 528 percent from 2015).

He spent three years as the senior manager of public relations for the Professional Bull Riders and 10 years as the senior vice president of communications for the ECHL, the “AA" Developmental Hockey League for the National Hockey League and the American Hockey League.

Carnefix was vice president of communications for Diamond Sports, overseeing local and national media and public relations for its entities, including a professional hockey team, three baseball teams, a tennis team, an indoor football team, professional boxing events, and a multipurpose facility.

He spent one season as the director of baseball operations for the Sioux City Explorers of the independent Northern League after spending seven years as the director of operations for the Oklahoma State baseball team.

Carnefix was the assistant sports information director for Oklahoma State athletics from 1984-87, serving as the primary contact for baseball, men's and women's cross country and men's and women's track and field while also assisting with football, men's and women's basketball and wrestling.

He is a graduate of Stillwater High School and Oklahoma State University, receiving his bachelor's degree in journalism-news editorial.
