2020 Illinois Chapter Inductees

The National Wrestling Hall of Fame – Illinois Chapter held its annual Honors Banquet on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the Holiday Inn – in Countryside, Illinois. With over 175 guests and family supporters in attendance, the NWHOF-IL Chapter inducted eight (8) new honorees.

National Wrestling Hall of Fame Announces Class of 2022

Morgan State University announced the return of competitive wrestling to its athletic programs, making Morgan the only Historically Black College or University (HBCU) in the country to offer the sport of wrestling at the NCAA Division I level.

The 2021 Senior World Team won the most medals with 15, surpassing the 2018 Senior World Team's 12 medals, and its five gold medals ties the number of World gold medals won by the 1995 and 2019 Senior World Teams.

Michigan State Chapter Class of 2021

The Michigan Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame held it's annual induction ceremony on October 10, 2021 at Weber's Inn/Ann Arbor Michigan. Approximately 305 people were in attendance for the Class of 2021.
