January 27 National Girls High School Team Rankings Released

Nine of the Top 10 teams from the preseason team rankings have remained in the Top 10, although there have been considerable adjustments. No. 1 Wyoming Seminary (Pennsylvania) and No. 2 Toppenish (Washington) holding down their rankings.

On January 27, 2023 the NYSPHSAA Girls Invitational Wrestling Tournament will be held at the SRC Arena in Syracuse. This year girls’ wrestling has been sanctioned by the NYSPHSAA as an “emerging sport” for the state.

There are two new No. 1 athletes, Emily Sindoni of New York at 132 pounds and Mishell Rebisch of Michigan at 152 pounds.
