After a road trip to remember the Florida Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame's seven nominees are now honorees. Pat Ancil, Dave Arter, Travis Gray, Louis Kachiroubas, John Severe, and Mike Schyck each traveled a Lifetime (of Service) to finally arrive on August 29, 2026.

In February, while traveling through Missouri, they picked up an Outstanding American, Colonel Drew Meyerowich.

The Class of 2026 came together over the last six months to close out the journey. They arrived with a caravan as 350 enthusiastic supporters accompanied them.

These wrestling heroes drove the dusty roads for years to finally arrive and trade out their t-shirts and sandals for tuxedos and green jackets. On August 29 each was gracious enough to share his own version of the journey.
