The National Wrestling Hall of Fame shares a rich past with the future of our sport. Like an elite wrestler, we change levels quickly and grasp the brilliance of wrestling.

Over the past many years, I’ve grown more familiar with the legends who came before me, touched the hand of fellow competitors from my era, and witnessed the men and women who define the future of our sport. The privilege of service is humbling and, at the same time, awesome.

By changing levels, I’ve worked with men and women who bring great intensity, passion and a love for wrestling. Our National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Dan Gable Museum Staff, Executive Director, Board of Governors, Governor Associates and Charitable Supporters demonstrate time and again the profound impact wrestling delivers to our lives.

At the Hall of Fame we celebrate it all! We hold the keys to the national treasurers of our sport. For this reason we have embarked, over these many years, to Preserve, Recognize and Inspire by sharing the stories, traditions, and accomplishments of those who have touched the great sport of wrestling.

More than ever before, we have told the great history of wrestling families, Presidents who have wrestled, military men and women who have competed, Native Americans on the mat, and the diversity of our sport, while proving time and again that Wrestling is a Sport for All.

As your Chairman, I am very proud of the men and women who have served the Hall of Fame and helped bring about the changes in the facilities, technology, exhibits and visitor experiences at the National Shrine in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and at the Dan Gable Museum in Waterloo, Iowa. We have changed levels and the past is meeting the future.

Wrestling for All has never been more apparent than today. God Bless the men and women of wrestling and may we show our support for the treasures within the National Wrestling Hall of Fame and the Dan Gable Museum.
