NWHOF-KS Legends Clinic Announced

The third annual NWHOF & M. Legends Clinic will be held on he Kansas Wesleyan University campus on Sunday November 5. The Clinic is a fundraiser for the Kansas Chapter and helps NWHOF/M  Chapter President ROBERT GONZALES with Honor Banquets.

GONZALES started the chapter in 2001 with the aide of USAW Kansas and he is in preparation for the 2019  Tenth Annual Honor Banquet first Sunday after Easter in Wichita.  The Clinic helps with the cost of the Honors Banquet.

The Legends Clinic features guest clinicians with a family member. In 2015 Mike Garcia HWC of HUTCHINSON HS and Cody Garcia HWC of BAKER University. In 2016 HOF member Jody Thompson and Chad Parks HWC of Tecumseh. This year 2017 features GARY Harding  HOF member with son All-AMERICAN & Collinsville, Ok. HWC Weston Harding and grandson Garett Harding four time Oklahoma State champion. Now that is a legends wrestling family from Salina.

After the clinic for the youth wrestlers in attendance. Kansas Wesleyan University varsity wrestling team will dual Bethany College varsity team at 2 pm. In Mabee Arena on the campus of KWU, both  schools are members of the NAIA.

The Honor s Banquet to date has inducted 50 Men & Women. Raised $28,000.00 for NWHOF/M  national office in Stillwater OK. GONZALES is responsible for gathering information on potential future inductees. He write s the Bio on each individual and submit to the national office for approval. Once inductee is approved, GONZALES will secure information on guest attendance and banquet itinerary.

Serving on GONZALES selection committee is RANDY Hinderliter of Ottawa, Richard F. Sayler of Wichita, Mike Juby of HUTCHINSON,  Nate Naasz of Lincoln, Heather Wilson of Overland Park and Tobi Vogan of Salina.
