19th Class to Be Inducted in NJ Chapter of the NWHOF

The New Jersey Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame, Stillwater, Oklahoma, will be preparing to induct five members into its Class of 2019 during a banquet setting on Sunday, September 15, 2019. The Westin Hotel located in Princeton, New Jersey, once again will be the setting and festivities will commence at 1 PM that afternoon.

Lifetime Achievement Awards will be presented to the following five inductees: Anthony Caravella the former Bloomsburg State University wrestler and very successful head coach at Brick Memorial High School located in Brick Township, New Jersey, Daniel Mahony (Deceased), a well respected high school wrestling official who was the recipient of several state and official’s association sponsored rewards, Vincent Russo, a wrestling official who has been the recipient of several awards for officiating excellence, Robert Shernce, a former head coach for many years at Mt. Olive Township High School located in Morris County, New Jersey, and an active member of the NJ-Chapter of the NWHOF, and Richard Voliva (Deceased), the former Olympian, Indiana University wrestler, and head coach at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

The Class of 2019 will be joined by many former honorees from the previous 18 class inductions in New Jersey, as well as several guests who will be in attendance to enjoy a banquet style meal beginning with introductory activities at 1 PM.
