Hall of Fame Will Feature Wrestling Legends of Michigan Exhibit at NCAA Wrestling Tournament
The National Wrestling Hall of Fame will highlight some of the Wrestling Legends of Michigan in an exhibit on the concourse of Little Caesars Arena during the 2022 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships on March 17-19 in Detroit, Michigan.
Distinguished Member John Reese Passes Away
At the time of his induction, Reese’s 42 years at the helm of the Wilkes wresting program was the longest tenure of any wrestling coach at any one institution. He also served 34 years as Wilkes athletic director.

NCAA champion and three-time finalist for Oklahoma and won five national championships in freestyle, nine in Greco-Roman and one in Sombo. Gold medalist at the 1967 Pan American Games and a member of three Olympic teams and eight World teams.
