Bobby Stites

Bobby Stites, a 2 time Oklahoma high school champion, a 2 time Big 8 Champion and two-time NCAA All American at Oklahoma State University, began his coaching career in 1973 at Bartlesville Sooner High School. After 5 years at Bartlesville, he moved to Ardmore High School where he coached 2 years. In 1981 Stites began a 19 year reign at Bixby High School. His teams at Bixby won 5 regional team championships and the 1987 State Championship. They were state champion runner-ups in 1985 and 1990. Stites was named Regional Coach of the Year four times and Coach of the Year in 1988 and 1989. He was also nominated for National High School Coach of the Year in 1989 and was selected to coach the 1984 East All Star team. Stites is presently coaching at Berryhill High School.
