Floyd Johnson

Floyd Johnson never coached a losing dual team season in his 29 years at Pauls Valley High School.

His lifetime dual record was 323 wins against 136 losses and 6 ties.

He has coached over 8,600 athletes. Eleven men have gone on to become Oklahoma State High School State Champions under his watchful eye. In addition, he coached 52 state placers, seven to All-State teams and two were selected to Olympic training camps.

Five times Coach Johnson was selected Midwestern Conference Coach of the Year. He was named the District 5 Coach of the Year three times.

He has held the office of both president and secretary of the Midwestern Wrestling Conference.

In 1984, Johnson was the All-State coach.

For 12 years he was listed as Who's Who Among American High School Teachers and has been recognized by the Oklahoma House of Representatives and the Senate for Outstanding Achievements in Education.

He has been a member of the Oklahoma and National Wrestling Coaches Association and has previously been named Pauls Valley District Teacher of the Year.
