Ken Ober

Kenneth Ober graduated from West Chester University in 1955 with a BS in Physical Education. While at West Chester he became a two time wrestling champion in the heavyweight division in 1954 and 1955. He coached 29 Mid Atlantic Conference Individual Champions, 2 NCAA Division II National Champions, (including the first ever Division III National Champion). Ken then became the head coach at Elizabethtown College, where he went on to coach 11 NCAA Divisions II All-Americans and one academic All-American. His career record was 305-219-9 in 29 seasons at Elizabethtown College. During the 1992-93 season, Ken Ober became only the 13th head coach in NCAA history to earn 300 career dual match victories. Ken entered the 1992-93 season ranked ninth among active coaches in victories. He was responsible for 89% of the program 's 344 dual meet victories.
