Orlando Turco

September 06, 1932 - November 03, 2025

A proud graduate of Cornell University, Orlando Turco was a lifelong educator and mentor.

He taught at Ithaca High School, where the gymnasium now bears his name, a tribute to the profound and lasting impact he had on generations of students.

His dedication to education was matched by his passion for wrestling. He was captain of Cornell’s wrestling team and for decades worked as a coach.

His love for the sport and commitment to his athletes shaped countless lives and built a legacy of excellence, discipline, and integrity.
