Jeff Malavsky
Jeff Malavsky is being inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame, Florida as a contributor and coach. In 1987, Jeff relocated from New Jersey to Naples, FL, following a successful high school and collegiate wrestling career. Jeff continued his commitment to wrestling beginning as an official for the Florida High School Activities Association. From 1992-2004, he was a volunteer coach throughout Collier and Lee counties. In 2005, Jeff became the inaugural Head Coach at Evangelical Christian School in Fort Myers, a post he would hold until 2017. He also had a pivotal role in starting the wrestling program at Southwest Florida Christian Academy. During that same time period, Jeff started "The Law" Wrestling Club, which was open to all Lee County wrestlers. In addition, in 2013-2016, he acted as the president of the Board of Directors for the wrestling booster club at Florida Gulf Coast University. While at Evangelical Christian School, Jeff coached 5 FHSAA state qualifiers and two state place winners. Since 2018, Jeff has been the Director of Development for the Florida Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. He continues to be invited to guest coach at clubs and clinics throughout Lee County and remains dedicated to growing wrestling in Florida at every level. Jeff and Kelli, his wife of 27 years, have two sons, Samuel and Matthew.
