Ron and Melody Domanico
- Couple has a combined 46 years of service to wrestling in a variety of roles - (1997- present)
- Ron is a 1976 graduate of Elk Grove (IL) High School where he was a 4-year stalwart on the wrestling team: Melody is a native of Armstrong, Illinois
- Graduates of the University of Illinois; Ron (BS in Management Science -1980; MBA in Finance -1981), Melody (BA in Music Education -1980)
- Worked as administrators and coaches for youth wrestling programs in NJ and GA (1997-2004 Walton and Lovett School)
- Active as administrators, team mom, coach, official and board members for Team Georgia/USA Wrestling national teams and numerous qualifying and national level tournaments (2000-2017)
- Melody is a USA Wrestling Bronze Level Coach and was instrumental in starting the Lovett Youth Wrestling Club, serving as a coach from 2008-2012.
- Ron is certified as a USA M-2 official for Olympic styles. Coach and team mom for outstanding Lovett School teams from 2000-2011;
- Co-founders of Holy Innocents' Prep Slam tourney, the second largest HS prep school tournament in the country
- Serve the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) in regular and post -season events -Ron has been a GHSA wrestling official for 15 years, refereeing regular and post-season events including traditional and dual meet Area, Sectional and State tournaments. Ron serves as treasurer for the Georgia Wrestling Officials Association (GWOA). In addition, Ron has served as the state dual meet and traditional tournament weigh master for over ten years; Melody has served the GHSA since 2004 (15 years) at the state dual meet and traditional tournaments as admissions administrator, hospitality supervisor and with bout/results entry
- Ron and Melody have provided faithful service to Georgia's Fellowship of Christian Athletes Wrestling as founding members of the organization in 2008 and as program administrators. Ron has served as chairman since its origination in 2008 and also serves the national FCAW as a member of the board and as the stewardship committee chair
- Founding and active members of the Atlanta Chapter of Wrestlers in Business Network (WIBN) - a non-profit organization that strives to unite the thousands of wrestlers that have retired from the sport and are now in their respective careers with a goal of supporting current & former wrestlers and the sport.
- Ron serves as a board member and treasurer for the Georgia Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame
- Active members of the Atlanta Takedown Association; past recipients of the ATA Volunteers of the Year
- Actively involved through volunteer work and financial support to their alma mater (University of Illinois), as well as all of Georgia's intercollegiate wrestling programs. Couple serves on the advisory committee to the university's Athletic Director as well as the advisory committee for the new wrestling facility
- Ron and Melody have provided volunteer service at NCAA level events as van shuttle drivers for wrestlers and teams at NCAA Championships (2009-present) and Southern Scuffle tournaments (2017-present)
- Have opened their home and hosted numerous wrestling organizations, teams, meetings and events including south Georgia teams traveling to Atlanta for competitions, Team Georgia national teams, Atlanta Takedown Association (ATA) functions, visiting speakers and the Mongolian national coach and team
- Honored annually for their commitment and service to the Lovett wrestling program with the presentation of "The Domanico Award"
- Ron currently serves as Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer for the Brinks Company, the world's largest cash management company. Melody is a former Band Director and music teacher
- Reside in north Atlanta/Sandy Springs; the couple has four adult children: Michelle, Adam, Daniel and Amy. Michelle and Amy were four-year Lovett Mat Lions while Adam and Daniel were Georgia state champions and multiple time All-Americans for the Lovett School/Team Georgia
