Adam Busiello was a five-time New York state champion and set the record for most wins by a high school wrestler with 294 for Eastport South-Manor High School in Manorville, New York.

He became the third five-time New York state champion, joining Troy Nickerson and Jacori Teemer. Nickerson was the New York and National winner of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame's Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award in 2005 while Teemer was the New York winner in 2018.
