Ridge Lovett
Ridge Lovett has spent his entire life on the wrestling mat.
The son of a youth wrestling coach, Ridge found himself on the mat before he could walk.
Passion and opportunity led him to become the winningest high school wrestler in Idaho history.
Ridge was a four-time Idaho state high school champion, finishing with a career record of 170-0 while helping Post Falls High School capture three state team titles.
He competed on numerous Idaho national teams from Schoolboy Duals to Fargo.
Ridge is an eight-time Fargo All-American while capturing two titles and reaching the finals five times. He will attempt to become a 10-time Fargo All-American this summer.
He experienced success in the Olympic styles at an early age, winning the National Triple Crown as an Intermediate in 2011 and competing in the Cadet Greco-Roman World Championships in 2017.
When not competing, Ridge is coaching, teaching and praying with the youth from the team he grew up on, Team Real Life. Team Real Life is an outreach ministry from Real Life Ministries, a church in Post Falls. Ridge has been active in his church and community, volunteering in local projects and programs whenever he could. He also enjoys hunting, fishing and doing 4-H.
Ridge plans on continuing his academic and wrestling career at the University of Nebraska.
