Brad Hansen, was described by one of his former wrestlers as "a coach who exemplifies what coaching is all about, the kids. Brad does all that he does for them not for rewards or recognition. Brad has influenced innumerable young men to accomplish things they never would have even attempted without his guidance." A graduate of Teton High school, Brad went on to BYU to become the Winningest Collegiate wrestler in the history of Utah as well as the Winningest Collegiate Wrestler in the history of the WAC. Brad was a four time NCAA Qualifier at 167 and a two Time All-American with a 5th place in 1978 and 4th in 1979. He was a BYU 1996 Hall of Fame Inductee. Brad began his coaching career as head coach at Spanish Fork High School from 1984-1990 where he coached 21 individual state champions, nine of whom went on to the college level. His teams finished among the state's top five teams five times. His career continued as head coach at Madison High School from 1990-1994 before he moved to Sugar Salem High School as the assistant coach from 1995-2006. He then became the head coach in 2006. At that time, Brad also took on the head wrestling coach position at Sugar Salem Jr. High School in 1995. Brad continues to make a difference in the lives of many wrestlers as their coach.
