Dr. Mike Reuter is a Hill Military Academy (HS), BA Washington State U, MS U of Illinois, PhD U of Oregon graduate. WWII: Anzio Beachhead, Southern France Invasion, Battle of the Bulge, Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Combat Infantry Badge, six Battle Stars, French Legion of Honor Award. Recalled to active duty during Korean War. Retired as Lieutenant Colonel in Army Reserve. Coached wrestling for twelve years at the major college level... U of Illinois, Washington State U, U of Washington, U of Oregon. Restarted the WSU program in 1946. Officiated wrestling for 32 years and served as secretary of the American Wrestling Coaches Association. U of Oregon faculty 1958-89.
