Casey Randles

The Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award recognizes excellence in wrestling, scholastic achievement, citizenship and community service.

Casey Randles' life is wrestling, but when he's not training or competing he's volunteering his time to help others in and out of the sport.

He was a three-time Idaho state high school champion for Sandpoint High School and Coeur d' Alene High School.

Casey proudly represented the state of Idaho on numerous novice, schoolboy, cadet, and junior teams. He was an All-American as a novice in 2011, as a schoolboy in 2012, as a cadet in 2014 and as a junior in 2016.

He was also chosen to compete in the Idaho Hall of Fame Classic on two occasions.

He was president, vice president and secretary of his student council while also being a member of the Math Club and the National Honor Society.

Casey volunteered hundreds of hours coaching youth wrestling and pitching in on blood drives, food drives and toy drives for his high school.

His academic success is highlighted by his 3.85 GPA and 1300 score on the SAT.

The state of Idaho and the wrestling community will miss his involvement and will follow him now as he competes for the University of Wyoming.
