Kevin Kramer coached for 33 years mostly at his alma mater, The Dalles High School. He served as a long time assistant and also as the head coach for a few years. He coached 73 state placers and 13 individual state champions. Three of his wrestlers went on to achieve All American status. During Kramer's senior, he won state championships in all three styles (folkstyle, freestyle, and Greco-Roman) and won national high school championships in freestyle and Greco. He attended the University of Oregon where he won the Pacific-8 conference championship in 1975. Kevin was a 1975 Fila Junior Greco National Champion and represented the USA at the Junior World Greco championships in Europe. He was also a West team representative in the annual East-West collegiate all-star match.
