Kelly Gregg
From 1993-95, Kelly M. Gregg dominated the heavyweight class at the Oklahoma State High School Wrestling Championships, winning three titles and amassing an overall career record of 90-4 for Edmond North. A standout competitor in both international wrestling styles, he earned All-America status in the USA Wrestling Junior National Greco-Roman Championships in 1993 and won a national title in freestyle the next year. After his senior season in 1995, the Daily Oklahoman honored him as its Wrestler-of-the-Year. In football, Gregg was a two-time All-State selection and as a senior, was named the Oklahoman's Defensive Player-of-the-Year. After high school, Gregg chose to play football at the University of Oklahoma where he twice was named to the All-Big 12 first team. After an impressive career as a Sooner, Gregg was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the sixth round of the 1999 NFL draft, but it was over a year and three teams later that he found his NFL home with the Baltimore Ravens where he started on the defensive line for 10 years and earned a Super Bowl ring. Gregg played a final season with the Kansas City Chiefs before becoming an Oklahoma City radio personality, co-hosting a program on 107.7 The Franchise. For setting an example of determination and tenacity, Kelly M. Gregg is honored as the 2015 Outstanding American by the Oklahoma Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. Kelly Gregg
