Frank Mosier

The inception, development, and advancement of the New Jersey Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame originated in the year 2000, thanks to Frank Mosier and his conscription of a few dedicated individuals who helped co-found the chapter. Frank was responsible for generating the enthusiasm, and subsequent enlistment of individuals who shared the same idea for branding the New Jersey Chapter, and subsequently helped to elevate its status as one of the premier chapters in the USA. A former competent wrestler at both at Trinity High School (PA), and at Moorhead State University (MN), Frank would entertain an early career in teaching in his home town of Washington, PA, followed by a 5 year stint as an Assistant Dean at Waynesburg College also in Pennsylvania. In 1975, Frank left education and embarked on a career in the insurance trade, and after a series of re-locations, and positions of executive leadership within the business, Frank brokered of his own insurance agency through State Farm in North Jersey in 1997, where he remains active in this entrepreneurial activity to this day. Over the years, Frank's list of accomplishments range anywhere from induction into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in 1984, Moorhead State University Hall of Fame in 1990, and Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Hall of Fame in 2009, all as a wrestler. It is without question that his crowning achievement, and one which we are most grateful, was his vision, leadership, and commitment to the New Jersey Hall of Fame Chapter and the recognition it receives to this day. Frank and his wife Leslye reside in the State of Maryland, and are the parents of two grown sons. Congratulations Frank, and to your family for your induction into the New Jersey Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame.
