Joe Stabilito Sr.

Joe Stabilito is a 1963 Temple University Grad in Mechanical Engineering. He became involved as a youth wrestling coach, and has risen to top leadership roles in several national associations. Joe has been a high school coach for 15 years, currently Assistant Head Coach at Upper Dublin, previously assisting Neshaminy, Upper Dublin, and William Tennent, and he was Head Coach at Sandy Run Middle School. For over 48 years, Joe has been Head Coach for various Wrestling Clubs. He has led East Mont/Mohawk (last 6 years), Hatboro Horsham, Warminster Spartans, Mohawk, & Raiders. In many of those years, he served as President or Vice-President for the various Leagues. Joe is the Team Leader and Coach for AAU, PAWF and USA teams, organizing PA teams' participation in regional & national Duals or tournaments. Joe has led PA teams to 5 national titles, over 200 All-Americans, and 14 National Champs. Joe has been selected as a Regional or National Man of the Year 4 times, and was inducted into the District 1 Hall of Fame in 2014. Joe also officiated for 10 years in PA, Delaware, and NJ. He was an NCAA, an AAU, and a USA Official. Joe was Vice President of the Old York Road Officials Chapter 3 years, and President for 3 years. He is now a Board Member for the PA Chapter of the NWHOF, serving as web master and social media director. Joe lives in Maple Glen. He and his late wife, Cathy, had 5 children. All 5 are all here, as is the special person in his life, Sue Tedesco.
