Charles "Biff" Walizer graduated from Bald Eagle Nittany High in 1958, with a record of 40-5.

In 1963, he graduated from Lock Haven State College with a 72-10-1 record. Biff won three PSAC and two NAIA titles at LHSC. One of his wins at the NAIAs was over Bobby Douglas, who won a total of five national championships.

After college, Biff became the head coach in Alexander Bay, New York for one year. He then moved to Titusville where his teams were 42-19-1 in six seasons and undefeated in 1968.

Biff then returned to his hometown and Bald Eagle Nittany High School, and he stayed the rest of his career. From 1970-1995 his teams were 252-136-5, including three undefeated seasons. His Panthers won 10 district championships including the last six seasons of his career. Biff coached 53 district champions, 20 regional champions, seven state champions and six state runners-up.

His son, Biff Jr, won two state titles. Biff's other State Champs were Dusty Ream, three-time champ Terry Williams, and Scotty Bair.

Biff was also very active in Cadet and Junior National Freestyle and Greco-Roman teams, coaching those squads for eight years.

He retired from teaching and coaching in 1995.

Biff was the District 6 Coach of the Year eight times, and twice was named the PIAA State Coach of the Year.

He is a member of the NAIA National Hall of Fame, the Clinton County, District 6 and Pennsylvania Wrestling Coaches Association Halls of Fame.

Biff and his fiancee, Becky live on their ranch near Lock Haven. He is active raising and riding horses, and teaching riding skills to youngsters in 4H.
