Kenneth Pagach
As a coach for thirty years of Edison High School, Ken Pagach has been ranked in the top 50 of New Jersey Coaching WIns, a paragon of wrestling talent and leadership. His team titles include that of 9 times District Champion and 11 times runner up District Tournament, three times County Champion and four times runner up County Tournament, three times Conference Champion, two times Warren Hills Tournament Champion and seven times Sectional Qualifier and nine time finalist. Pagach individual titles include having lead 145 Tournament Champions, 285 Tournament finalists, 33 NJSIAA State Qualifiers, 9 NJSIAA State Place Winners, 3 NJSIAAA State Finalists and 2 NJSIAA State Champions. Active in all aspects of the sporting community, Pagach can boost three years as the Assistant Football Coach and three years as Head Coach for Girls Track. Pagach was also an NJSIAA Baseball and Soccer Official and spent 20 years as an NJSIAA Wrestling Official, making him and important part of the wrestling community. Within the administrative realm, Pagach spent 29 years as a member of the NJ Wrestling Coaches Association, two years as State President and three years as Region 5 President, two years as the State Ranking Chairman and three years as Region 5 Ranking Chairman. Within this significant and sizable contribution to the sports world, Pagach has been awarded with the Times Coach of the Year 6 times by the Newspapers and Coaches Association, he was inducted into the NJ Wrestling Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 1992, and was awarded with induction into the National High School Athletic Coaches Hall of Fame in 1997. Ken also is the originator/creator of the first ranking system in use by the NJSIAA to determine the qualifying teams for the NJSIAA sectional championships, as well as providing objective criteria for region and state rankings.
