Dick Bellock is recognized for his years of dedication to the development of leadership and citizenship in young people through the sport of wrestling.

- -Coached wrestling for 22 years.
- -Nine consecutive undefeated dual meet seasons.
- -Starting wrestling program at McKay, in West Salem high school.
- -Athletic Director at McKay & West Salem high school.
- -President of Salem Wrestling officials Association.
Dick Bellock coached Waldo middle school with nine consecutive undefeated dual meet seasons and lost only one dual meet in his 10 years there. He started the wrestling program to both MCKAY and West Salem high schools and served as Athletic Director at both new schools. He was head coach at McKay for 12 years and officiated wrestling 18 years at the high school and collegiate levels. Dick officiated wrestling for 45 years and was President of the Salem Officials Association.
