David Crowell

Dave Crowell graduated in 1975 from Lock Haven State College, where he captained the team and was a two-time Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference medalist.

He went on to become a prolific coach for 29 years at Easton from 1977-84), Wilson from 1992-2003), and Nazareth from 2004 to present. His career record through 2014 is 427-108-1.

Five times he was the Pennsylvania State Coach of the Year.

His teams have won five state team titles, three state dual meet titles, seven regional, 10 district tournaments, and seven district dual championships. Through 2013, he coached 65 district, 51 regional and 15 Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association champions.

He is the only Pennsylvania coach to win 100 meets, coach a state champion, win a state team title, and be named the State Coach of the Year at three different schools.

He is a member of the Pennsylvania Wrestling Coaches Association Hall of Fame, was the National High School Coaches Association Coach of the Year in 2001 and the National Wrestling Coaches Association National Coach of the Year in 2007.

Dave and wife Jacquelyn have four children, Michelle Fossum. Casey Shaffer, David and Colin.
