Joseph Kiefer

Joseph Kiefer wrestled for Wilkes College from 1964-1968 and was a NCAA Division III Runner-Up at 137 lbs in 1966. He coached every level from youth to head coach in Pennsbury and Fairless Hills in his 43 year tenure (1968-2011), the last 25 years as head coach. His career record was 411-115, with10 League Championships, 3 District Dual Titles, one District Team Title and one Regional Title. He coached 65 sectional, 26 district and 17 regional champs. At the state level, he coached 2 State Champions (Chuckie Conners and Kip Keifer), and 13 medalists. He officiated wrestling and soccer in the 1970's. Joe cofounded the Pennsbury Wrestling Club, and was president of the Bux-Mont youth wrestling league from the 1980's thru early 1990's. Joe is a member SE PA Wrestling Hall of Fame and the Wilkes University Athletic Hall of Fame. Joe and wife Charlet live in Fairless Hills and have three children, Joseph, Shayne Kip and Kory.
