Archie Randall
In 1993, Archie Randall was named the Oklahoma Coaches Association Junior High Coach of the Year.
It was a sign of things to come.
Archie turned El Reno High School into one of the nation's elite programs. During his 13-year run, El Reno won 11 state championships and compiled a phenomenal dual record of 234-16. There were 54 individual state champions, 52 state-placers and 22 All-State wrestlers. Forty-four El Reno wrestlers earned collegiate scholarships during Randall's tenure.
As director of USA Oklahoma Wrestling, Archie's teams won seven Junior Duals championships and two Junior Team championships.
In 2006, Oklahoma City University put Randall in charge of its new men's NAIA program. The Stars finished 10th at the 2008 Championships.
OCU added a women's program in 2007 and Archie was named as the coach. His first team went 11-4 in duals and won the NWCA National Dual Tournament.
For his efforts, Archie Randall is honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Oklahoma Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame.
