Turner Jackson was a two-time NCAA Division II national champion for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

He was 33-0 in 1975 when he won his first title at 158 pounds. He came back as a senior in 1976 to repeat with a 31-2 record. He had a run of 55 consecutive wins over his last two seasons.

The four-time Southern Open Champion was 116-15 during his career.

He also won two SEIWA titles and was honored as the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame Amateur Athlete of the Year in 1976.

Two-time Alabama high school state wrestling champion.

Jackson has been at Bradley Central High School for 41 years, primarily coaching wrestling and then serving as the school’s AD.

Member of the Greater Chattanooga Sports Hall of Fame, the UTC Hall of Fame and the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association Hall of Fame.
