Ted Resnick attended North Hunterdon Regional High School where he wrestled under Harold Vandermark and then wrestled for Midwestern College in Iowa. As a high school wrestler he was undefeated his junior and senior years in the competitive and highly ranked Warren - Hunterdon Counties. Following college, Ted turned to the avocation of high school official. He became an outstanding official working all levels of the NJSIAA tournament series including the State finals. He has been active in the New Jersey Officials Association for over 36 years serving many years on the Executive Committee as an officer. In fact, Ted is the only official to have had the experience of holding every office from treasure to president. Ted is most noted for his executive skills as the CEO of the Flemington Department Store in Flemington, New Jersey. Over the years Ted has managed the growth of a small work clothes store run by two people (his parents) into a large variety store of some 80,000 square feet which employees 140 people and over 100 subcontractors with merchandise that serves customers with clothing, furniture, appliances, and flooring materials. Most recently the flooring department expanded its operation to provide red carpet for high profile activities including the Emmy Awards, Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting and the Pope Benedict's visit to Yankee Stadium. Ted attributes much of his successes to the life experiences he gained from wrestling.
