Dave McMahon

Dave McMahon is a graduate of Collingswood High School and West Chester State College in Pennsylvania where he earned a BA in Health and Physical Education. McMahon started coaching wrestling at Passaic Valley High School in 1961 and in a short time developed his wrestling team into one of the premier programs in New Jersey. During his 27 years of coaching, Dave amassed a record of 250-96-3 winning six league, seven county, eight district and one sectional championship. Individually, Dave coached three state champions, seven state medal winners, 14 Region Champions, and 60 District Champions. Throughout the years of coaching Dave McMahon has been a positive influence in the lives of hundreds of wrestler and thousands of students. His teams not only revealed high skills in wrestling but consistently demonstrated sportsmanship regardless of their wins or losses. He is recognized by his peers as a man of grace, integrity, and principle.
