Jeremy Boyd

April 26, 1971 - Present

Jeremy Boyd started at Cheatham County Central the same year that Ricky Woods started at Harpeth in 1997. It is a fitting tribute to both that the two Cheatham County coaches be inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in the same 2026 class. They are fierce competitors on the mat and at the same time deeply respectful and supportive of each other’s program. They know what it is to keep a small school program going in Cheatham County.

Jeremy has accumulated over 300 victories in his 30 years at Cheatham County and has two State Dual appearances. Jeremy also coaches the middle school team and is a founding member of the Mid-Cumberland Athletic Conference for middle school wrestling. Jeremy embodies everything the sport teaches: sacrifice, hard work, teamwork, and being part of something bigger than yourself—no excuses. He is a true leader, a community cornerstone, and a model of what it means to give your all.
