· 1984 graduate and successful wrestler at Lowndes High School (Valdosta, GA)
· 1988 graduate of Valdosta State University (Valdosta, GA) - B.A. Sociology
· 2005 graduate of Valdosta State University - MSW - Master of Social Work
· Competed on first team at Lowndes HS in 1982, captained team as senior in 1983-84
· Co-founder and charter member of Lowndes HS Takedown Club (1988)
· 1 year (2001-02) - coach of Lowndes Youth Wrestling Club
· 23 years (2002-present) - South Georgia Athletic Wrestling Club co-founder and head coach
· 23 years as a driving force in the improvement and development of youth wrestling in Georgia as a leader in the Team Georgia/USA Wrestling program:
- 2 years (2002-2004) - Team Georgia/USA Wrestling Board - Region Manager
- 17 years (2004-2021) - 1st Vice Chairman - Team Georgia/USA Wrestling Board
- 4 years (2021-present) - Chairman of Team/Georgia USA Wrestling
-15 years (2010-present) – Team Georgia/USA Wrestling National Team Coach
· CEO of Jason L. Griner, LCSW PC practicing as a Mental Health Therapist for Oakwood Counseling
· Recognized with prestigious “Community Hero” award by the Valdosta area Red Cross (2015)
