·         2005 graduate of Albany State University - M.S. Health and Physical Education

·         31 years of service - retired - career coaching record of 349-139 

·         12 years (1991-2003) - Valdosta HS- head coach - turned program into statewide power

·         19 years (2003-2022) - started new programs at Cairo HS and Washington MS - head high school coach along with serving as head middle school coach

·         11X Region 1 Coach of the Year; 11X region traditional championship teams; 11X region dual meet championship teams

·         Valdosta HS - coached 5 top 10 teams, 4 traditional and 2 dual meet region champion teams, 5 individual state champions, 30 state placers and 98 region champions

·         Cairo HS - coached 7 traditional and 7 dual meet region champion teams, 14 state placers and 55 region champions

·          Instrumental in working with the Valdosta Chamber of Commerce in becoming one of the team training facilities for 1996 Olympic Games - hosted Italy, Venezuela and Belarus teams

·          Co-director of GHSA state tournament held at Perry Agricenter (2002)

·         Promoted wrestling by hosting camps, clinics, USA tournaments and NHSCA qualifiers at both schools

·         Resides in Cairo, GA with wife, Laura; adult children: Wilder, Read
