· 1997 graduate of Georgia State University - Ed.S Educational Leadership
· 32 years of service as one of Georgia’s most successful coaches
· 16 years (1993-2009) - coach at Parkview HS - 7 as assistant with NWHOF coach Dennis Stromie/9 as head coach
· 7 years (2009-2016) - head coach at Archer High School (Lawrenceville, GA)
· 9 years (2016-present) - head coach at Buford (GA) High School
· 3 years (2022-present) - Director of Athletics for Buford City Schools
· Led teams to 20 GHSA state championships (10 Dual/ 10 Traditional)
· Teams captured 30 region championships in his 32 years as a coach
· 3X state Coach of the Year - 2004, 2006, 2013
· Coached 45 individual state champions, including three 4X GHSA state champions
· Father (Tom) is a 2021 National Wrestling Hall of Fame Georgia Chapter inductee
· Resides in Hoschton, GA with wife, Wendy; adult son, Tommy, and daughter, Ashton
