Barbra Morgan
Barbra Morgan began coaching at Sedro-Woolley High School in 2004 after spending the previous seven years as a Sedro-Woolley SteelClaw Youth Wrestling Club coach.
In 2007, Washington was the third state in the country to offer an official girls' wrestling state tournament, and Morgan was a driving force.
The first tournament featured nine weight classes with eight-woman brackets.
Her Cubs teams have made 17 appearances at the Mat Classic, and from 2008 to 2011, they stood atop the podium as state champions.
Morgan has coached 45 state placers, along with 12 finalists and six individual champions.
Following her tutelage, eight wrestlers have continued to compete at the collegiate level, with one having won an NAIA National Championship title as well as being named an NAIA All-American.
