Frederick M. Feeney
Fred Feeney has over 30 years of experience as a wrestling referee at both the high school and college level.
His impact on wrestling officiating is difficult to put into words. His officiating experience includes three NCAA Division II Championships finals, 13 NCAA Division III Championships finals, four NAIA national finals, and 12 Ohio High School Athletic Association state wrestling tournaments. He has also worked for the Big Ten, Mid-American Conference, Ohio Athletic Conference and Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Feeney has served as the host of the popular Matside cable television show and has been a moderator for several popular wrestling forums. Feeney has also written numerous papers and articles outlining the mechanics of officiating and personal stories from officiating experiences.
In 2019, Feeney was inducted into the Ohio Wrestling Officials Hall of Fame.
He has been a leader in wrestling officiating in the state of Ohio and around the country.
