·        Native of Alpharetta, GA

·        1970 graduate of Milton High School

·        1975 graduate of the University of Georgia (B.S. Health/Physical Education)

·        Earned Master’s degree in 1981 from UGA (M.S. Health/Physical Education)

·        46 years as a teacher, coach or athletic administrator in Fulton County schools (1975-present) - still active

·        35 years (1975-2010) - teacher/coach at Roswell (GA) High School - 1 year as assistant and 31 years as head wrestling coach

·        11 years (2012-present) -associate athletic director at Cambridge High School (Milton, GA) overseeing numerous sports, including wrestling

·        Served as Roswell’s associate athletic director for seven years (2003-2010) overseeing wrestling and other sports programs

·        Teams captured 7 Fulton County championships with 9 runner-up finishes

·        Region team champions (1985) and runner-up (1986)

·        Led Roswell teams to four top ten state finishes, including a 3rd place team finish in 1985

·        Coached two individual GHSA state champions, 9 individual runners-up and 20 state placers

·        Organized and hosted summer kids wrestling camps for the Roswell Schools Foundation (12 years)

·        Awarded Gene Collier Memorial Award by the Georgia Wrestling Officials Association for outstanding contributions to wrestling in Georgia (2007)

·        Georgia Athletic Coaches Association Region Coach of the Year (1985)

·        Inducted into the Roswell High School Athletic Hall of Fame (2016)

·        Highly respected, veteran multi-sport coach also coached football for 32 years (offensive line and special teams) and served as head boys track (1977-81) or head girls track (1981-2006) coach for 29 years

·        Currently working half-time as associate athletic director at Cambridge HS

·        Resides in Dawsonville, GA with wife, Betsy; adult daughter, Casey (Jenkins)
