Andy Warner
Andy Warner attended Champaign Central High School. He was a 1971 graduate and wrestled for three years under Hall of Fame coach Don Pittman.
Andy has been an IHSA wrestling official for a total of 42 years, starting in 1973. During this time he has worked 41 IHSA Regional Tournaments, 35 IHSA Individual Sectionals, 10 IHSA Individual State Tournaments and eight IHSA Dual Team State Championships. Andy was also an IHSA Bench Official from 2004-2015, serving as Weigh-In Supervisor.
He has officiated outside the IHSA at 15 Midwest Nationals and over 18 youth State Finals including the IKWF, IWF and IESA.
In 2003, Andy received the IHSA 25-year Service Award. In 2007, he was inducted into the Illinois Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association Hall of Fame. In 2016, Andy was awarded a Lifetime Service Award by the IWCOA.
