Tate Myre
"On the tip of Tate's "iceberg" you will find that he carried a 3.85 grad point average, was part of the OHS mentorship program, led the OHS football team and contended in the MHJSAA State Finals in wrestling. As impressive as of that information is, it doesn't fully encapsulate WHO Tate Myre truly was in his 17 years of life. When you look at the layers under the water level, Tate "iceberg" is deeply impactful. Tate's student leadership reached beyond student-athletes and the "popular" kids.
His connection extended into the entire Oxford learning community.
Tate was a talented young leader with a natural gift for working with others. He was intuitive, incredibly selfless, and an exceptional student role model. He knew what people needed and when to offer the necessary support(s).
