Sine that time Kobey has been involved with swimming, baseball, golf and during his 8th grade year he joined wrestling. Kobey comments that the thing that drew him to wrestling was honest people telling him what he would be good at. People were comparing me to the likes of Anthony Robles. Hearing that excited him and he set his goal to be the best at the sport and feels he has come close to conquering that goal.
