Bruce Hallman

Bruce Hallman graduated from Boyertown High School in 1971 and returned to assistant coach, high school coach and junior high coach until he retired in 2005. His overall coaching record was 303-140-1 including 30 overall team championships. Bruce coached 44 sectional champions, 15 district champions, 7 regional champions. 8 state place winners and 24 overall state qualifiers. Then in 2004 a young man named Mike Spaid became the first P.I.A.A. State Champion from Boyertown High School. Bruce's teams won 8 Sectional titles, 2 District championships and his teams qualified for the State Dual Team tournament on 2 occasions. Dealing with discipline and work ethic was never a problem as he told his wrestlers and parents here are the rules...and we will stick by the rules. The all-business and always modest, Hallman fit's the role when his colleagues say they can describe him in two words...A Gentleman.
