Glenn Flegal

Glenn Flegal wrestled for the legendary Hall of Fame coach Art Weiss. After graduating from Millersville University where he wrestled for Hall of Fame Dr. Ted Rupp, Glenn started his coaching career in 1954. For the next twelve years Glenn had a very successful career as a coach. While coaching Glenn decided to become a wrestling official and for thirty-eight years was one of the finest officials in the country. Officiating all levels of P.I.A.A. tournaments, NCAA Division 1 and 3 National tournaments, the EIWA's as well as Junior and Senior National AAU's. As many of our honorees Glenn decided to do more for the sport of wrestling as he donated his services to the Keystone Games, Junior Olympics, novice tournaments, clinics and demonstrations. He coached elementary boys each year in Carlisle for many years.
