Stan Zeamer
Stan Zeamer has made a significant contribution to the sport of wrestling through many avenues. His success as an athlete and coach were only the beginning of a lifetime career of leadership within the sport of wrestling.
Zeamer’s success as a wrestler at Northwest Missouri State University, where he was an NCAA College Champion, increased his appetite for a sport he grew to love. He served in a number of coaching positions on the junior high, high school and college levels. His coaching career has gone full circle as he is presently a volunteer head coach at Manheim Central Middle School where he began his coaching, as well as his wrestling career.
Zeamer has been a longtime supporter and leader for the National Wrestling Coaches Association. He generously provides office space from his business headquarters to two important wrestling organizations, the National Wrestling Coaches Association and the Wrestling Hall of Fame state chapters program.
He serves on the Board of Governors for the National Wrestling Hall of Fame and served as its chairman for a number of years. He has been instrumental in promoting the Hall of Fame state chapter program and set the standard for their operations during his term as President of the Pennsylvania State Chapter.
He has received numerous awards and honors for his leadership and contributions to the sport of wrestling. He has previously been inducted into five sports Halls of Fame. In 2003 Zeamer received the coveted Meritorious Service Award from the National Wrestling Coaches Association.
